My last photoshoot for 2016 involved me visiting one of my favorite spots, the iconic Sakonnet Point Lighthouse. Sitting just off the coast of Little Compton, Rhode Island, it is a well known spot for locals to catch a  great sunset. It's also popular with photographers, as most photos you will see are all taken from the same stretch of beach. I have shot here many times, and I still return once or twice a year for photographs. Despite the beauty of the scene, there are challenges in photographing here. The wind is usually strong coming off of the water, which results in sea spray getting all over your lens. It also makes it difficult to get sharp images, even while using a tripod. I struggled to control that in these images.
